The advantage of the Lil' Tex is its small cooking chamber. This allows for faster heating to cooking temperature and burning less pellets. The Lil Tex comes with an extended hopper (hopper extension not needed) and the uses approximately 2/3 of a pound of pellets per hour, about 24-28 hours of cooking at a low teperature without refilling the hopper.
