In 2007, Traeger Wood Pellet Grills replaced their 180 degree controller with the 225 degree digital controllers - a great improvement over the 3-speed controller. At the same time, they removed the option for 180 degree smoking. What that means is that the lowest temperature setting is 225 degrees rather than 180 degrees. Here at Pellet Grill Outlet, we cook on Traegers 24/7 and some of our recipes call for 180 degrees!
Pellet Grill Outlet now offers the 180-LV Multi-Temp Digital Controller because we like to cook at 180 degrees and we know some of you do too! These wood pellet grills come with the 225 Digital Controller, for those that prefer to cook at 225 degrees, or select the 180-LV upgrade below!
