No other pellet grill has anything like the PELLET BOSS™. This unique innovation controls fuel to the firepot. Using information from the thermocouple inside the grill, the Pellet Boss™ manages fan speed to adjust induction air. This allows very accurate control of the grill temperature.
Set your desired temperature for your foods using up to three food temperature probes. When your food reaches the set probe temperature, an alarm alerts you that your food is done. For more advanced grilling you can create custom programs which change the temperature at pre-set times. The Pellet Boss™ also lets you set elapsed time or countdown timers with audiable alerts. You are cooking a whole turkey and you want to eat at 3:00.
You can set the PELLET BOSS to cook the turkey at 300 degrees until meat probe one reaches 180 degrees (optimal temperature in the thigh of the turkey), then automatically switches the grill to SMOKE to "hold" the turkey and not over cook it until you pull it off at 3:00.
