 Assembling a Traeger 

Here are a few quick pictures of a brand new Traeger grill. You can see that there are just a few parts to assemble and then it's time to fire it up and cook!.

First, put the handle on 2 nuts and washers

Next Chimney 2 nuts 2 washers

Third install hopper with 4 bolts 4 washers

Plug it in and your Grill n

Adding a digital controller

Remove 3 speed switch replace with digital, mount RTD heat sensor probe inside cooking area most cases left hand side of unit, connect rtd probe wires to top left rear of digital control.

Digital Thermostat Wiring Color Codes:

RED - Auger Motor

ORANGE - Combustion Fan / Muffin Fan

PURPLE - Hot Rod

BLACK - Power Cord

NOTE: Wires can be interchanged without causing an electrical short.

Add the heat temperature probe (RTD probe)

Always start your unit on 180/225 never smoke or high, when the temperature of the Traeger reaches 100 or higher turn to desired temperature.
